Remember and Don't Let Go

What does it mean to truly remember something? Not just to know it intellectually, but to live it out daily in a way that shapes who we are and how we stand against the pressures of the world around us? This message digs into one of the most honest truths about our spiritual lives: we are forgetful people, and that forgetfulness can cost us more than we realize. Drawing from 2 Peter 1:12-21, we are invited to see why the rhythms of faith, gathering together, hearing the Word preached, celebrating the sacraments, singing, and sharing testimony, are not extras bolted onto the Christian life. They are the very infrastructure that keeps our faith alive and anchored. When we drift from these practices, the voice of doubt grows louder, and we become vulnerable to a culture and to voices within the church that would pull us away from the truth. The call here is simple but urgent: remember, and do not let go.
