CROP Walk - FBC has participated in the Red Bank area CROP Walk since its inception 45 years ago. We are proud to be a part of this international fund-raising initiative that began with a desire to alleviate hunger in Europe post WWII. Today, their work spans the globe as hunger remains a growing concern both internationally and even here in Monmouth County. Our Monmouth County partners, along with Church World Services, are active front-line fighters against hunger wherever it is found. You can be a part in this effort as well by being a walker or making a donation to this important cause. Donations can be made directly at the CROP Walk website by credit card, or to me or any of our walkers by cash or check (make out to CWS/CROP). Link to donate:  https://events.crophungerwalk.org/crophungerwalks/team/first-baptist-church-fights-hunger-2
Twenty-five percent of all funds raised go to our local Monmouth County partners (food kitchens and food distribution sites). We will also be collecting food items, all of which are distributed locally. More information will follow, so please stay tuned to the announcements!
Helping a Member- Church family, you may have heard of some medical needs that Ruthie has been managing recently. Ruthie and family could use some help with meals as she is taking it easy to let her body rest a bit. A meal train has started. Perhaps you can sign up to bring a meal, and/or share the link with anyone who might want to help the Rosato family (Ruthie, Frank, & Ronnie). Thank you so much! **Please note special dietary considerations on the sign up link.  Please text/call Frank to arrange delivery of a meal at (732) 284-0778** Meal Train Link: https://mealtrain.com/rl6m5l
