At First Baptist, we love children and believe each one is a gift from God. So we want to join with you as you train up your child in ways pleasing to the Lord.  More than anything, we want them to know that we're glad they're here with us, worshiping and learning about our Lord. It starts right away with your child's first visit. They feel the love of Jesus Christ in our safe, secure, and child-friendly environment. Our lessons are biblically based and God-honoring.  His Word is at the heart of our ministry. You can relax knowing that your children will be playing and creating while they discuss Bible stories. They'll be encouraged in the Word while having a lot of fun!
We'll seek to:
Instill God's truth using bible teachings and verse memorizing.
Encourage kids to follow Jesus by being His imitator and a disciple of Christ.
Model their beliefs through actions.
We work hard with your kids to build many happy experiences of sharing, participating, and friendship. Our Kingdom Kids program is divided into three age groups; Nursery & Toddlers, Preschoolers, 1st-4th Grade, and 5th-7th Grade.

Children begin the worship service in the sanctuary with their parents until dismissed after worshiping through song. On the first Sunday of the month we have "family Sunday" where the children stay in the sanctuary for the entire service. Typically the sermon will include something enjoyable for them.
